It's slow going because I've never worked with WP before and work and other responsibilities are swamping me. I have some ideas for a template tag (e.g. <?php ffdisqus-comments() ?>) that would give html that can be styled with CSS and/or Javascript. If you know Wordpress, I'd appreciate the help. Maybe if there's enough interest I'll set up a project on Google code or something so people can contribute. I'm happy to share what code there is.

Re: Comment Combiner Status

I would be really keen to see this, but I have a very clear idea in mind of what I want...

I want a Wordpress plugin that doesn't display via JS, but pure HTML.

I'd like to back-end API calls... one to FF and the other to Disqus. then your "logic" to work out how to glue them together based on fuzzy timing (as you've explained), then output to screen via a template that I can code/style, much like the existing Wordpress one. It means I want to be able to make it style as per a normal Wordpress blog, but with merged comments from Disqus and FriendFeed... but not with javascript injection.

Am I talking your language here?? Would be awesome if that's what you were doing!

Cheers,

-A

Re: Disqus-FriendFeed Comment Combiner

I'd love to get a copy of that to test. kevin -at- fanblogs -dot- com

Re: Disqus-FriendFeed Comment Combiner

This is a reply to test the script.

Re: Disqus-FriendFeed Comment Combiner

This is a test post for my combining script.

Re: Disqus Comments

I know, and it's gonna get better

Re: Social Networking Tools

Disqus comments: why is it not showing up on FriendFeed?

Re: Disqus Comments

This is so great!
